New stuff from Nuremberg 2008-11-17

Last week I've got a phone call from a former Ericsson developer who was working in Nuremberg. He told me that he still has a lot of collectables from that time. I knew that the snap on cover for A2618 were developed in Nuremberg so I hoped to get one or two more ISA-12 cover for my collection. And so it was: Lots of never released A2618-covers and plenty of other stuff for a reasonable price. Here are some impressions:

Got two new ISA-12 for my collection, Warp and Disco. Once again it was Zsolthy who found the collectables for me.

I am curious 2008-09-26

Since years I was looking for a yellow T36 and now I finally found one. It has not the final design everybody knows from press photos but it's definately a rarity. These are first impressions from Zsolthy who just received the phone and who will forward it within the next days:

T18sc flip arrived 2008-08-20

Thanks to wapt from Esato I've got a T18sc flip today. My fully operational T18sc prototype came without flip and all I had to complete the phone was a normal T18s flip. Wapt was so gentle to find and send me a juniper blue T18sc from China. Since the flip had some marks of normal usage on the outside I just removed the flip inlay and inserted it in a brand new flip:

e-zones is relaunched! 2008-08-20

Wow, I can't believe that I finally got this relaunch done. There are still some minor problems but most of all functions are working properly now. If you think you've found a bug, feel free to send me a message.

What's new?
The main reason for this relaunch was to make e-zones more comfortable. Clicking through the galleries is much more fun now, I think. Another nice thing is the removable teaser: If your screen resolution is too small, just click on the little white arrow on the right side of the navigation bar to remove the teaser. Of course you can restore it the same way.

Please note that you need to have JavaScript enabled for several new functions.

File sharing
The file sharing is only available to members with the appropriate right. As long as you've got access, you can watch any folder's content and download anything you like but you may only upload files to your personal folder which is upload/user/username.

You can link to single files and images from other websites like Esato but you can not link to folders since they require a login. Please do not upload more than 20MB because my webspace is limited. I planned to add a script soon that will limit the total size for each user.

Board
This board is readable for anyone but only writeable for members with the appropriate right. You will find basic bbcode functions to format your messages. Don't try to use code other than offered by the buttons since it will be ignored. If you've got access to the file sharing, you will find a dropdown menu which lists all image files from the root of your personal folder. Select an image to add a thumbnail preview to your message which will link to the full size image. (Note: I just found that the dropdown obviously only works in IE but not in Mozilla browsers. I will try to fix this)

Regarding your login name: This name will be displayed right beside your messages so you may want to change it to your nick name if you have't done so yet.
